Are we able to recognize the quality of a skincare product? Is it enough to trust the opinions of others?
It's always better to make your own assessments to be sure of choosing the quality for our skin... Let's see (with very simple tricks) what is the best way to determine the quality of skin care products!
Before buying a product, you should know about its composition and the quality of the ingredients that make it up. Very often, nowadays, we rely on the experiences of those who have already tested them, on influencers, on social media, on the reviews and feedback we hear or read online.
There is nothing wrong with trusting what you "learn" from others opinions, there are those who are certainly right and promote an excellent product, but all that glitters is not gold.
Thus, we learn to recognize the quality of a product individually, trusting only ourselves!
Here are some very simple tips on how to recognize the quality of a skincare product:
- look at the percentage of naturalness: to consider a product as "really natural", its % of naturalness must exceed 90%,
- check (and obviously avoid) the presence of silicones: ingredients ending in -ane, -ene, -one are silicones, to be avoided absolutely!
- download the free Yuka app: by scanning the barcode it will give you immediate information on the quality of the product (very useful and quick),
- pay attention to the presence of wordings such as: paraben free, cruelty-free, certified product, eco-friendly.
As you can see, there are four very simple ways to evaluate a skincare product individually, without relying solely on the opinions of others, and thus be more sure of what you choose to apply to your face and body.
Always choose transparency and quality to best cuddle your skin!
